Château Le Thil Red 2019

On the palate, Chateau Le Thil 2019 is a pure expression of its terroir: the tannic structure and freshness derived from its clay soils are associated with a maturity and fullness characteristic of the southern-facing vineyard. The combination of these extremes (cold soils and warm exposition) find perfect balance this year. The wine is dense, smooth and full of verve, with a long, fresh finish. At first, it delivers a sensation of sweetness and depth, followed by an extremely long finish built on lovely tannins, with freshness and acidity. The wine finishes with aromas of red and black fruit and notes of flowers and mild spices with a touch of chalkiness.
